19 Dec 2011by Dave AaboWAVES for Development has partnered with the Green-Go-Solar Project to offer a pilot expedition to San Juanico (Scorpion Bay) and Laguna San Ignacio (UN World Heritage Site) in Baja Sur, Mexico for a solar-inspired adventure. When: January 15-25th, 2012
Where: Starts and ends in San Diego, California (flights not included), shuttle to Tijuana airport, flight to La Paz, cars toSan Juanico (Scorpion Bay), Laguna San Ignacio
Highlights:
- Learn how to make your own solar panel and how to design a basic off-grid solar system
- Work alongside local residents to install the panel
- Provide much-needed electricity to school teachers
- Go Whale watching and have close-up encounters with “friendly” gray whales
- Surf, fish and explore the coast and desert, RELAX!
