International Olympic Committee Guide includes WAVES as Case Study

02 May 2013by

A while back we were contacted by a consulting firm looking for input to be compiled as a toolkit for the International Olympic Committee (IOC).  Well, we’re pleased our responses were valued and included in the guide.  A fitting reveal of the “Get Moving!” guide (also available in the downloads section of our website) was made  at the IOC’s 15th Sport for All World Conference held in Lima.   Juninho Urcia, a Peruvian surfer from Huanchaco, and Fernando Aguerre, president of the International Surfing Association (ISA) did a presentation at the conference on “Surfing for All”.  Here are a few pics from Lima thanks to the ISA facebook page.
