Join our friends, Rick & Staj, and help them kick-off Community for WAVES a community-supported project to volunteer with WAVES for Development—to bring a wood building workshop to Lobitos, Peru to introduce youth to the art, craft & economic opportunities linked with the trade. In addition to helping WAVES enrich the lives of these youth, we’re also hoping to help advance the growing sustainable travel movement, which WAVES is charging forward in the world!

What do they hope to accomplish by teaching the workshop? By teaching this workshop, we hope to provide students with fun, basic woodworking skills and tool safety, as well as a stepping stone into the greater possibility of woodworking and the economic and development opportunities associated with the trade.
