Talara and Negritos

This morning when we woke up, some of us went to the WAVES surf shop to buy shirts and bracelets.  We were lucky because they gave us free WAVES shirts!  After that, a WAVES car drove us back to the hostel where we all got in to go to Talara.

Talara is another city in Peru and is busier than Lobitos, but Lima, the capital city, is a little busier than Talara.  In Talara, we went to markets and walked around.  Then we had lunch.

After lunch, we went to another town called Negritos where we climbed to the top of the most western point of South America!

Next, we went into the town to go bowling.  Ms. Joni bought us all icicles while we waited for the bowling alley to open and the owner to get everything ready.

We made two teams of four people and when it was someone’s turn they got two chances to hit everything.  Not everyone wanted to play.  Some students wanted to watch and take pictures.

After bowling, we went to a restaurant to eat dinner and there was a lot of Peruvian foods on the table like ceviche.  During dinner, there was a beautiful sunset so we all went out to watch.

We then got back in our bus and drove back to Lobitos.  In the bus, we played games and listened to music.  Today was a long, fun day.
