NYC Global Volunteering Fair to include WAVES

On Thursday, October 27th, the International Volunteer Programs Association (IVPA) will be hosting a Global Volunteering Fair with John Jay College of Criminal Justice. This FREE event offers individuals the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with organizations that coordinate volunteer projects around the globe as well as attend FREE workshops – sponsored by Cross-Cultural Solutions – on topics like the basics of volunteering abroad and strategies for making volunteering in another country affordable.  WAVES very own Marieke Bianchi will represent the organization on the panel.  Come say hi to allstar alumni Jen Gonzalez and Jean-Luc Robert, who will also be present.

What:  IVPA Global Volunteering Fair

When: Thursday, October 27th, 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Where: North Hall at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice (445 West 59th Street)
