Hey there from Puerto Escondido! We wanted to highlight this awesome #SurfImpact trip since a few elements have changed in the past few months. The WAVES Puerto Escondido Surf & Volunteer Trip allows you to get involved in one of our community projects in the sunny Pacific coast.
GIVE BACK: Depending on the season, help out at a local Iguana Center, Turtle Camp or Dog Rescue initiative.
SURF: Puerto Escondido is known as the “Mexican Pipeline.” Find consistent breaks whether you’re an expert or beginner surfer. The Puerto Escondido and Zicatela beach breaks are the closest surf spots, but if they’re too big & barreling, La Punta is a more mellow beautiful left hand point break tting for anyone.
STAY: Stay at an oceanfront hostel in front of Punta Zicatela. You will have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Use free time to enjoy the fabulous surf, beaches and nightlife of Puerto Escondido.
